DRIVE-SHAFT PEDAL ASSIST
To protect from the elements and allow for a more leisurely experience, we implemented a E-assist drive-shaft motor. This feature allows for simpler maintenance, and a more enjoyable ride.
We gathered insights and opportunities from our observations throughout the Santa Monica area.
FINAL MODEL
We decided to be resourceful and build the model the most cost effective way. Using minimal amount of cash and relying more on our skills of crafting, designing and refining. We worked our way from the biggest to the smallest details.
We used laser cut templates of our design, to fabricate the pieces of wood into form.
After combining multiple components, we painted the bike frame as one piece.
Assembling the final model, which was produced to be 1:1 scale. We created the other parts of our designs separately and combined it at this phase.
